We tested many of our competitor's forward facing air cleaners and found them to be very restrictive. We designed many models until we settled on this very aggressive, free flowing, truly high-performance unit. The chrome-plated die-cast housing with high-flow filter element supplied by Advanced Flow Engineering (aFe) is easy to install and air-flow will support performance engines in excess of 120hp. Kuryakyn strongly recommends recalibration of the ECM on all EFI models using a tool such as the TTS MasterTune (P/N 9225) or Vance & Hines Fuel Pak (P/N 230) for H-D models, or Kuryakyn Wild Things Fuel Injection Controller (P/N 9218) for Metric models, all sold separately.
